To help Allana with her Te Reo home-play, we need to get confident with knowking the days of the week in Te Reo.  Check out the skipping rhyme we are going to learn.

Days of the week - Skipping Rhyme

Rātapu, Rātapu, one, two, three,

Rāhina, Rāhina, skip with me.

Rātū, Rātū, turn around,

Rāapa, Rāapa, touch the ground.

Rāpare, Rāpare, touch the sky,

Rāmere, rope swings high.

Rāhoroi, you’re too slow –

End of the week so out you go!
