What did we think at the beginning?

At the very start of our inquiry on 'Time is running out!' we stood on a line to show what we thought.  We had to be A+ adventurous to stand by ourselves for what we believed and A+ articulate to explain  the reason for our opinion.

Allana is interested to see if our opinions change as we progress through our inquiry.

Here are some reasons to support our opinions.

Jess explained that we should preserve animals for future generations.

Phelix thought that it was important to look after both insects and mammals as they are both part of nature.

Isabella thought about the consequences of having no bees - we would have no honey!

Wonderings - time is running out!

If we believe that time is running out for the endangered and threatened species - what do we want to find out?  Record your wonderings on this wallwisher.  You might have more than one wondering.

We will try to answer these wonderings during our in inquiry.
Make sure you add your name at the top of your wondering.

Surprising Challenge

This was found in the newspaper.
Are you up for the challenge?  Would you go?  What would you take if you were limited to 10 things?  What would you hope to find or even hope you wouldn't find?
Use this as a writing challenge this week and over the holidays.  We will post all responses to the blog.

Time Challenges

One of our time challenges was to use books and time lines to sort out periods in history.  How are we doing?

30 Days has September Rhyme

Try learning this poem so that you always know how many days till your birthday or just how many days there are in each month.

30 Days Challenge

Can we all do 30 new things  - not just in September but over this year?  What could our new things be?  How could we keep a record of all the new things we have tried?  Are you up for the challenge - a time for being A+ Adventurous.

Write a comment telling me one new thing you could try in the next two weeks or how we could meet this challenge of trying new things as a learning team.  Allana
